Designation of a statutory replacement rate for EONIA (Benchmark)

This initiative will designate statutory replacements for EONIA, which will cease to be published on 3 January 2022. The replacement rate will be designated on the basis of the already modified EONIA methodology, which is based on recommendations of the relevant industry working group on alternative risk-free rate and on consensus of relevant stakeholders. The replacement rates will replace contractual references to EONIA in the EU by operation of law as of 3 January 2022.
