The main objective of this implementing measure is to lay down the conditions for the rules and conditions for the verifications of carriers pursuant to Article 13(7) of Regulation (EU) 2017/2226 and to Article 45(2) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1240. It includes specific provisions for the protection of the data where provided by or to carriers, and security rules applicable to this access.
