Response to Development and technical implementation of the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)

Dear Dear Sir/Madam This response represents the views of IAG (International Airlines Group), one of the world's largest airline groups. Before the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic it operated to 279 destinations and carried around 118 million passengers each year. Spanish registered, IAG is the parent company of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level and Vueling. IAG has led aviation action on climate change for over a decade and become in October 2019 the first group of airlines in committing to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 with our program Flight Path Net Zero and is one of the 10 global companies recognised by the UN for their ambitious carbon targets. In April 2021, IAG Has become the first European airline group to commit to powering 10 per cent of its flights with sustainable aviation fuel by 2030 and to extend its net zero commitment to its supply chain.
