This proposal will overhaul of the legislation on European labour market statistics on businesses. They comprise tabular data for quarterly job vacancy statistics and labour cost index, 4 yearly labour cost survey and microdata for the 4 yearly structure of earnings survey. The initiative will aim to make statistics more comparable across countries, more timely and ensure a better coverage of the economy. It will include provisions to ensure collection of data on annual unadjusted gender pay gap
