The Commission has the legal obligation to perform an evaluation to assess the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) performance in relation to its objectives, mandate and tasks. The evaluation assesses the impact of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, which established EASA and its working practices in establishing a high level of civil aviation safety in the EU.
