The Ship Recycling Regulation aims to reduce significantly the negative impacts linked to the recycling of EU-flagged ships. The evaluation will assess how well the Regulation contributes to the general policy objectives of the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan. It will assess how well it has been applied and what its impact has been so far, identify shortcomings with its implementation and enforcement and include well-justified conclusions.
