Building on the Farm Accountancy Data Network, the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN) enhances understanding of farm-level sustainability in EU agriculture by compiling data on three sustainability dimensions. The FSDN's implementing rules, defined in 2024, allow for gradual implementation by Member States. This initiative seeks to amend definitions of certain variables and, if necessary, provide further exemptions to Member States during the phased FSDN implementation.
