The food chain spending programme covers the spending for animal health measures, plant health measures and official control activities on food and feed. The evaluation will assess the effectiveness, efficiency coherence, relevance and the EU added value of the expenditure incurred for the implementation of the programmes and accompanying emergency measures and the financial support to the European Union reference laboratories and training activities in the food chain area.
