Methods, requirements and tests for type-approval of OBFCM devices, OBD and OBM systems of M1 and N1 vehicles and EVP

This initiative provides for the methods, requirements and tests, incl. compliance thresholds, for the type-approval of OBFCM devices, OBD and OBM systems of M1 and N1 motor vehicle categories, anti-tampering, security and cybersecurity systems and format and data and off-board communication methods for the EVP and methods for in-vehicle display of environmental data. It will ensure an effective implementation of the EU vehicle emission type approval legislation for light-duty vehicles.
