The Council Recommendation on the Quality Framework for Traineeships (QFT) of 10 March 2014 urges Member States to improve the quality of traineeships, in particular as regards learning content and working conditions, with the aim of easing the transition to work. This evaluation will assess to what extent the QFT has been successful and if it is still relevant. It will support the Review announced by the Commission on 4 March 2021 in the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan.
