The objective of the initiative is to revise the guidelines on rules on technology transfer agreements (Guidelines accompanying the Commission block exemption regulation on technology transfer agreements), which will expire on 30 April 2026, to ensure that companies have clear guidance on what technology transfer agreements they can conclude without risk of infringing competition law.
