This act establishes certain rules for operators in the European Union (EU) as regards organic or in conversion products intended to be imported into the Union and after the release for free circulation into the EU territory of the products. In addition, the act includes the obligations of Member States to notify the cases of non-compliances found during the official controls carried out on consignment intended to be imported into the EU.
