Public health

Endocrine-disrupting chemical substances ("endocrine disruptors") are substances that alter the functions of the hormonal system and consequently cause adverse effects. The Communication will provide a comprehensive EU framework on endocrine disruptors, describing key issues, taking stock of what has been achieved so far and outlining concrete steps to be taken in the future.
