This initiative provides the templates of the documents for the approval of motor vehicles with regard to their intelligent speed assistance system, driver drowsiness and attention warning system and event data recorder. It will ensure consistency in the implementation of the EU vehicle approval legislation. It also amends Regulation (EU) 2021/535 to require the mass of the energy storage system to be included in the certificate of conformity of zero-emission vehicles.
