Créé par l'ordonnance de 1945, l’Ordre des experts-comptables est une institution nationale, placée sous la tutelle du ministère de l’Économie et des Finances, dont le rôle est d’assurer la représentation, la promotion, la défense et le développement de la profession d’expert-comptable, tant en France qu’à l’étranger.
