Strategy for the EU’s outermost regions
Regional policy
The initiative aims at allowing the outermost regions to better benefit from EU policies, funds and programmes. It will align the current strategy with the new political priorities. It will provide an overarching vision for enhancing the prosperity of these regions and outline key areas for EU action to address their needs and specificities, while also helping to unlock their unique potential and asset as the EU’s outposts in the world.
