Response to Sustainable transport investment plan

HIF Global is a global manufacturer of renewable electricity based e-fuels. We appreciates that the EU has established a forward-looking policy framework to accelerate the transition toward climate-friendly transport. As a provider of innovative solutions in this field, we realize that investments in low carbon transport solutions still face considerable uncertainty. While the EU regulatory framework encourages the use of green hydrogen and its derivatives in transport, it has also contributed to market hesitation. We encourage the EU to address these challenges and provide a clear, forward-looking policy outlook to be communicated in the Sustainable Transport Investment Plan.
