Sustainable transport investment plan

Transport

The initiative will provide a strategic framework with roadmaps for the energy transition in all modes of transport. While looking at energy transition needs in all modes of transport, it will focus on aviation and waterborne transport. STIP will outline actions to boost public and private investments into renewable and low-carbon fuels, by making better use of existing financial instruments while identifying needs for additional measures. The initiative will help strengthening EU’s strategic autonomy and enhance its technological leadership.
