Response to Evaluation of Directive (EU) 2017/541 on combating terrorism

However, I would like to add to my previous comment that terrorism takes on an Islamic matrix, but is the fruit of violence and feeds on it under the false guise. Islam is synonymous with peace, inherent in the same word, and those who act in its name are blasphemous because they use religion in a distorted way. We as the INSPAD (Institute of Peace and Development) are messengers of peace. In the name of it, each of us must act and understand the limits of their actions. Democracy means understanding where my freedom ends and where that of others begins; it is not the anarchy of saying and ranting, offending and accusing, but a meeting of different worlds and different cultural matrices.
