Response to Sustainable transport investment plan

The development of any strategic sustainable investment approach must be based on solid technology neutral and energy pathway assessment criteria. This is especially pertinent for the maritime transport sector as it is the transport mode that has unique access to harnessing an abundant, inexhaustible, zero-emissions propulsive energy source that is delivered directly to the ship at point of use, which is the wind. Please find attached our detailed feedback and position paper outlining our recommendations and further context on how to structure a holistic, energy-centric and total cost of ownership/operation oriented strategic investment plan for the maritime transport sector.
