Response to Initiative on EU taxonomy - environmental objective

Mundys Response to the European Commission Consultation on the EU Taxonomy Delegated Acts Mundys welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the evolving legal framework of the Taxonomy, and the continued collaboration with the European Commission to ensure that industry input is given due consideration in the development of this fundamental and comprehensive classification of sustainable activities. Mundys, one of the world leading companies in the transport infrastructure and mobility-related services sectors both within and outside of the EU, recognizes the importance these sectors have in achieving the EUs ambition of being Net Zero by 2050. To reach this goal, transport infrastructure and mobility-related services should be involved in the Taxonomy process to ensure the transitional power of these sectors helps drive the green transition. In light of this, the Mundys Group welcomes the inclusion of a number of air transport, ITS and motorway activities in the draft acts. Based on such inclusion, the private sector, the European Commission and all other relevant stakeholders should continue to collaborate to create a viable pathway towards Net Zero.
