Response to EU quantum Act

As a significant player in the EU, PsiQuantum welcomes the European Commissions call for evidence to shape the future Quantum Act. The imminence of utility-scale quantum computing raises questions on the early availability of such systems in the EU to support leadership in quantum applications and deployment. PsiQuantum wishes to offer insights into the importance of concentrated funding and public-private partnerships focused on scalability, advanced manufacturing and enabling infrastructure as well as intense work to prepare the use cases that can deliver on the promises of useful quantum computing - with international cooperation as the cornerstone of a successful EU strategy for quantum computing.
