Digital economy and society

This initiative aims to accelerate the research, development, and industrial deployment of quantum technologies in the EU. It aligns with the goal of the 2024 ‘quantum declaration’ signed by 26 Member States to make Europe a leading 'quantum continent'. Proposed measures will support and coordinate EU and national research and innovation activities in quantum technologies, stimulate investments in quantum infrastructures and in industrialising quantum technologies and monitor and protect the EU’s critical quantum supply chains.
