Directive (EU) 2022/1999 represents the codification of Council Directive 95/50/EC; it lays down common rules applicable to controls in road transport of dangerous goods, such as a common checklist with elements to be controlled on roadside and a common description of infringements and common classification of their dangerousness. This initiative adapts to the technical progress the checklist, the description of infringements and introduces a harmonised checklist for controls at the premises.
