Amendment to the delegated act on the functioning of the Advisory Councils under the Common Fisheries Policy

Advisory Councils are stakeholders' organisations which were set up to promote a balanced representation of all stakeholders and to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Common Fisheries Policy. The Commission is empowered to adopt delegated acts laying down detailed rules on the functioning of the Advisory Councils. A first Delegated Regulation was adopted in 2015 (2015/242) and modified in 2017. The aim of this proposal is to improve the functioning of the Advisory Councils.
