Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/856 establishes detailed rules on the operation of the Innovation Fund, among which a two-stage application procedure for large-scale projects. Based on the high oversubscription of the first call and with a view to provide faster support to innovative clean tech projects, this proposal for amendment provides the Commission with the flexibility to organise the application procedure in either one or two stage(s).
