This Commission Implementing Regulation provides common procedures, rules and technical specifications for access by competent authorities to the eFTI platforms of economic operators. Harmonising these rules and specifications is important for guaranteeing that any eFTI platform can be accessed by the competent authorities of any EU Member State and for assuring the economic operators that the competent authorities handling their data are properly identified, authenticated and authorised.
