Drones are an innovative tool that can be used for numerous legitimate, but also malicious purposes. While the EU has regulated the legitimate use of drones, there are no specific EU rules and guidelines on countering their unauthorized use. This initiative therefore aims to outline the EU’s policy on countering the threats posed by drones, including taking stock of existing counter-drone support measures and presenting a strategic vision for further activities.
