EU Drugs Strategy and European Action Plan Against Drug Trafficking

Borders and security

In line with the ProtectEU Strategy, the European Commission will collaborate with Member States to introduce a new EU Drugs Strategy and an Action Plan against drug trafficking, addressing security, health, and socio-economic challenges. This initiative aims to update policy frameworks and propose concrete actions to combat drug trafficking both within the EU and internationally, highlighting a coordinated approach to adapt to emerging threats.
