Evaluation of the EU Lifts Directive

Single market

The purpose of the present evaluation is to assess whether the Lifts Directive is still fit for its purpose in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and EU added value. On the basis of the conclusions, the Commission will assess whether a revision is necessary for the Directive to meet its objectives.
