The EU imports organic products certified by control authorities/control bodies whose standards have been recognised as equivalent to rules of the repealed EU legislative framework on organics. This recognition is set to expire by 31/12/2024. The purpose of this amendment is to set the list of control authorities/control bodies recognised to certify operators and groups of operators in third countries, compliant with the new EU legislative framework on organics currently in force, for the purpose of import of organic products into the EU.
