For the successful implementation of the European Digital Identity Wallets, this implementing act sets out requirements for the issuance and validation of electronic attestations of attributes. Further, it establishes a catalogue of attributes for which Member States should enable a verification against an authentic source and sets out rules for the notification and publication of information relating to public sector bodies responsible for an authentic source issuing electronic attestation of attributes.
