Response to Greenhouse gas emissions savings methodology for low-carbon fuels

The National Hydrogen Association of Slovakia (NVAS) would like to provide feedback regarding the methodology to determine the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission savings of low-carbon fuels (LCF). We recognise the importance of standardising a methodology at the EU level; however, the current general approach does not sufficiently address the regional differences and specific requirements for developing and deploying LCF technologies across Member States. A more tailored framework that considers regional variances in energy production, infrastructure availability, and technological maturity would be more effective.
