EU Fusion Strategy

The Draghi report on EU competitiveness recommends developing an overarching EU innovation strategy for nuclear fusion energy to promote its rapid, economically viable commercialization. The EU fusion strategy is being developed by the European Commission in consultation with leading fusion experts, industry and other fusion stakeholders with the objective to achieve economically viable fusion power plants connected to a grid. The EU fusion strategy will be published as a Commission Communication.
