The Pyrotechnics Directive 2013/29/EU and Commission Implementing Directive 2014/58/EU on pyrotechnic articles apply to consumer fireworks and all other pyrotechnic articles. The Directive’s main objectives are to ensure a high level of protection of human health and safety and guarantee a well-functioning single market for pyrotechnic articles in the EU. The aim of this evaluation is to assess whether the Pyrotechnics rules continue to serve these objectives.
