The goal is to verify to which extent the rules on health and social Services of General Economic Interest (SGEIs) reached the envisaged objectives under the 2012 SGEI package, namely to support Member States in funding services of general economic interest that are of key importance to citizens and society as a whole while preserving the key aspects of State aid control. In addition, the Commission seeks a better understanding of the application of the SGEI de minimis Regulation.
