The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) provides the framework for a sustainable and mutually beneficial forward-looking trade and economic relationship with Canada. 21 September 2022 marked the fifth anniversary of the provisional application of CETA The objective of the European Commission is to publish an evidence based ex post evaluation of CETA analysing its economic, social and environmental impact after five years of provisionally application.
