Single market

The New Legislative Framework (NLF) for EU product legislation aimed to improve the Internal Market for goods and boost the quality of conformity assessment of products. Yet, the economy and technology are evolving. This evaluation seeks to explore whether the NLF remains fit for purpose in a digital and circular economy. This concerns soft- and hardware updates and upgrades, refurbishment and repairs, conformity assessment and accreditation.
