Evaluation of the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation
Competition
The Vertical Block Exemption Regulation, which declares Art. 101(1) TFEU not applicable to certain categories of vertical agreements and concerted practices, will expire on 31 May 2022. The purpose of this initiative is to provide evidence on the functioning of the Regulation in terms of its effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and added value which will serve as a basis for the Commission to decide if it should let it lapse, prolong its duration or adopt a revised Regulation.
