The F-Gas Regulation is being aligned with the European Green Deal, the European Climate Law, recent international obligations on HFCs under the Montreal Protocol and progress made and lessons learned. Following this revision, it is necessary to revise several implementing acts, among them this act to extend certification programmes and training attestations to cover not only cars but also different types of vehicles (vans, heavy duty, mining, trains, metro, trams etc.).
