Network Code on Cybersecurity

Digital economy and society, Energy

This initiative will contribute to greater resilience of the European electricity system and to security of supply. It is based on the powers that the European Parliament and the Council delegated to the Commission in the electricity Regulation to develop sector-specific rules (a so called “network code”) that address the cybersecurity aspects of cross-border electricity flows, including rules on common minimum requirements, planning, monitoring, reporting and crisis management.
