Persistent organic pollutants - Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB)

Regulation Persistent organic pollutants implements the EU’s international commitments under the Stockholm Convention on persistent organic pollutants (chemical substances). The Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention decided to list Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in Annex A to the Convention. This initiative amends Annex I to the Regulation to include Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) as a substance subject to certain restrictions.
