Review report on the Governance Regulation of the Energy Union and Climate Action

Energy

The Governance Regulation established an iterative process for strategic planning of energy and climate policies to achieve the Energy Union objectives and the energy and climate targets for 2030. The Fit for 55 Package and the REPowerEU Plan propose higher ambition levels and strengthened requirements for policies and measures. The global energy crises calls for stronger synergies among the five dimensions of the Energy Union, including security of supply; a review, and possibly a revision, of the this Regulation is thus imperative.
