Revision of Regulation (EC) 648/2004 on Detergents

Single market

This initiative aims at streamlining and updating the legislation applicable to detergents to reduce administrative burden, ensure better coherence with other applicable legislation and adapt it to technical progress. It builds on the recent evaluations of the rules on labels for chemical products and on detergents as well as the Fitness Check of the most relevant chemicals legislation (excluding REACH).
