Founded in 1994, the Commission for Occupational Health and Safety and Standardization (Kommission Arbeitsschutz und Normung, KAN) has the purpose of observing the standardization process and ensuring that standards makers devote sufficient attention to the needs of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
