The EPPO is the independent public prosecution office of the European Union. It is responsible for investigating, prosecuting and bringing to judgment the perpetrators and accomplices involved in crimes affecting the financial interests of the Union. The evaluation aims to assess the implementation and impact of the EPPO Regulation and identify areas for potential improvement to enhance the EPPO’s performance in protecting the Union’s budget and ensuring that it is used for its intended purpose
