Under the EU energy labelling framework, the Commission is to review existing rules to rescaling solid fuel boilers based on their energy efficiency. This initiative may lead to a rescaling of the label to adapt it to technological progress improving on the energy efficiency of solid fuel boilers. It will also consider introducing a water heating efficiency class for combination boilers.
