Review of the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA)

The initiative will assess the extent to which HERA‘s mandate and tools allowed it to effectively and efficiently contribute to the political objective of strengthening the EU’s health emergency preparedness and response, and fulfil the tasks it has been assigned. The initiative will also look at the complementarity with work carried out by other EU bodies, the extent to which HERA’s mandate fits the current health challenges and if any changes to this mandate are needed.
