This strategy will enhance the resilience of European space systems and services. It will support space services for security and defence by ensuring that security requirements are taken into account. It will contribute to EU’s non-dependence, protecting supply chains and developing critical technologies, hence strengthening the competitiveness of the EU’s industry. This initiative is a deliverable requested by the Member States in the Strategic Compass.
