Upgrading digital company law
Justice and fundamental rights
Taking into account the experience under the COVID-19 pandemic with strong reliance on digital tools and processes as well as with the functioning of the Business Registers Interconnection System and EU company law, this initiative will aim to enhance transparency about EU companies. In particular, it will assess how to make more information available cross-border, enable cross-border use of trustworthy company data, and further modernise company law rules to make them fit for digital age.
